WALK BRUNCH & BOOK SIGNING

Walking up the hill to the Phare de Mamelle (lighthouse) has become my newest obsession lol! I try to go at least twice a week in the morning around the time when the school gates are just opening, and before the usual traffic of the city starts.

The view from the top is beautiful. From where i stood, i could see Le Monument de la Renaissance (The African Renaissance Monument) which is located at the top of one of the twin hills known as Collines des Mamelles.

Later, I met up with some walk buddies and friends at a cafe called Moya about a minute walk from the bottom of the hill. After a nice and friendly conversations, good laughs, and a yummy healthy breakfast. I got to sign some copies of Ayo And His Wooden Bicycle for their new owners.

What a lovely way to start my day!
